Monday I brought myself for a little jog in Astoria Park, which turned out to be more like a power walk, and by power walk I mean a regular walk. It was nice, temperatures were just about right, breezy when it needed to be and only with enough people there. The views were amazing, at least for someone who lived the suburbs of Connecticut, you know what I mean. I thought with being THIS close to the Triboro Bridge that the noise would be ridiculous but it was actually fairly quite.

I did manage to spot yet another douche bag while trying to burn off my calories. There was this guy, I'm not sure if he was Italian, Hispanic or what but apparently he thought everyone was gawking at him. He was running around at first shirtless, so of course, and I don't care who you are but you're gonna look, scope things out and see what someone is flossin'. Well he was flossin' one ugly ass crooked tattoo on his back, oversized white gay-shades and some windbreaker pants. I don't understand what he was trying to pull by suddenly doing some random dance moves anytime I or a couple of other guys would pass him. Apparently he thought we were birds and that was one way of attracting us. LOSER!
An hour or so of walking gave me enough time to hit about 3miles or so, which felt GREAT but only until I got home and realized I couldn't really feel my legs. I was so sore and achy for a good part of my day that even my 800's weren't doing me any justice. PAIN! PAIN! PAIN!
So not only have I been feeling really shitty about my hair and the way it's going back but I also happen to have someTHING growing on my nose. I know how gross it sounds, but for some odd reason and I don't know why I'm even saying this, there's this thing that hibernates and only comes out when I least expect it. It's huge, hard and painful and makes me pout! I felt everyone doing a double take any time I had stepped out of the house to either run an errand, it wasn't comforting at all. This cannot continue to happen to me, I'm already paranoid it's going to someday grow to be the size of my face! It could also be stress, lots and lots of stress.
Monday, After my brisk walk.
I find myself sitting here in one of the many waiting rooms at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital. My niece is currently undergoing surgery and it's been nearly two hours since they had started. I'm beginning to lose my mind, granted it's given me time to catch up with my Grandma & Sisters some but these chairs are absolutely uncomfortable! There's enough room for my ass... if that! How do they expect people just to sit around waiting on these things, offer us a bed or two or just SOMETHING! Granted... we're currently supplied with a tiny room full of goodies, but still, with so many goodies comes comfort.
...
It's now just about 4:00pm and we got word a while ago my niece did fine throughout her surgery and is in recovery, so that's GOOD news. :) My mom also is doing well down in Florida and is awaiting for the Doctor to sign her release forms.
...
I actually just got to see my niece briefly in recovery... Wow... there were SO many kids there just out of surgery... I had no idea. She looks like she's doing good, really groggy, sore and couldn't move much but just seeing her THAT way is enough to make me feel settled for now.
