D-10... Signing off.

Whoa! The Day is here... We're pretty much all packed up... finally! Just waiting for the movers to get there.  Thank God cause it's been horribly busy around here.  A special thanks for all the help of some very good friends, correction, family members.

Despite the fact that I've been nervous as hell, anxious about being jobless and everything else under the sun, I'm actually excited! I'm gonna miss coming home to (what should be worth) a half a million dollar condo, all of our Rockband nights, our silly yet crazy New Years and all of our countless runs to Taco Bell, Sun Wok, Mcd's, Stew's...  pretty much any other place in Norwalk where calories could be consumed.  But it's time to move up, with a population of 8 million that means we have lots and lots of other restaurants out there calling us.  This may bring on a new blog solely dedicated to food and ways to be fat. Til later... I'm signing off from D-10.

Astoria... here we come.

Abandoned you? No... There's just been a lot going on, and I mean A LOT.  Let's see since my last post I had gone on vacation, had an amazing time, the Boy and I both drove down with my niece and let's just say driving through the Carolinas was the least favorite place to drive through.  The south is just... plain weird.  I'll post random pictures on that soon.  Once back from my trip I only had a weeks worth time to give my notice at work and so I did... and I guess I wasn't surprised but rather annoyed that the manager didn't show any emotion what so ever, in fact, he couldn't have picked up his pen any faster to circle my last day on the calender, September 11th.

Obviously we got the apartment, our move in date was for this Saturday but the Boy has loads of work to do back at the office so we pushed it Monday, which is fine cause there's enough we have to do this weekend besides packing up this place.  Anyhow, I'm blogging because I feel extremely uneasy this morning.  After being taken out for drinks and such at Chili's by some of my co-workers and saying by to everyone which was actually really sad on both our ends, I'm here sitting on my couch feeling really odd.  Oddly enough I set my alarm last night for 6 am, even though I knew didn't have to go to work.  I trying not to let myself freak out about now working or having a job yet, the Boy says things will be okay for now but still, it isn't the same.  I need to work, I think I'll go crazy if I'm just sitting at home.

Time to go back to cleaning up...

... great

I'm not going to sell my car, I can't. The day was going fine and I don't even know how it started, but the boy says if I move with him I have to get rid of my car, I don't want to, i refuse.  I had the car for two years now and I can't see myself just going from having a car, to suddenly not having on, regardless of the fact that it wouldn't be used in the City IF I decide to go.  What happens, say if I do move into the city live there for however long (not long because I won't allow it) then move out of the city and suddenly need a car, what am I just supposed to go out and start all over again?  Makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever.

Weekend Begins / Vacation Ends

It's Friday night and I'm just randomly reading through strangers blogs as if I personally know any of the authors.  I haven't blogged much on here as you can tell, but I have an extensive history with live journal which I seem to have abandoned.  Anyhow, while reading these other blogs I asked myself if it would be considered creeper like to leave comments and advice and then I realized its obvious they're online for a reason.  Here's to that.

Today was my last day of a vacation, which wasn't really a vacation like one would imagine, I didn't book any flights, pack any bags or stay at any hotels.  I stayed home and tried to make the best of things.  Last weekend I made a trip with my boyfriend and housemates to Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson New Jersey, and that was quite fun considering it had been a very long time I had gone anywhere like that.  I was supposed to spend time at our pool but it turns out the community where I live requires an application process (being sarcastic) for a pool pass.  Thanks to that I wasn't able to go swimming or lay out to get some vitamin-D cause we all know how much it is that I'm lacking.  My boyfriend did get tickets for him and I to go see RENT on Broadway as part of my Birthday Present.  It was sweet and the show was amazing as I'm sure millions of people would agree on.  Other than that I did manage to save money on gas by not commuting everyday and I allowed myself to catch up on some much needed sleep.
[I wonder if I'll get up on time tomorrow?]
I better set every alarm in the house in order to wake my ass up!  I'm sure I can! I'm sure I can! I'm sure I can!  Overall it was a good week, I realize just now I didn't go to the gym at all, which is complete opposite of what I had planned but that's okay, it was just a week off.

This weekend of course I'll be working for a couple hours come tomorrow, after that I have plans on visiting with my nieces that are in town for a few days before I head up to the lake house in Bantam.
[A weekend without phone service or Internet, how am I going to survive?]
I'm sure I'll manage, one way or another, definitely if someone just knocks me out.  I guess it'll allow me to freshen up on my gaming skills, card gaming, board gaming that is cause I doubt we'll have our Xbox with us.  It should be good for me though, especially considering how much I have on my plate and what needs to be sorted out.

Plate:
School and how I'm non enrolled
Job
Lack of Career
Boyfriend
His need to move into NYC
My need not too

That's only the beginning, I needn't extend that list just yet, do trust me when I say it needs to be worked out.  I may even seek advice from anywhere for opinions and such.
